Everyone loves to be able to give back. Here are a few organizations that I really believe in and that make a huge difference.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation raised more than $35 million in 2007. BCRF was awarded an A+ rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy, its highest rating, and the only breast cancer organization in the U.S. to receive this accolade. Thirty percent of my pink towel net profits go to BCRF.

Another organization that I firmly believe in is CARE, the world's largest international relief organization.
CARE tackles underlying causes of poverty so that people can become self-sufficient. Recognizing that women and children suffer disproportionately from poverty, CARE places special emphasis on working with women to create permanent social change. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
"Always remember the most important thing to pack for any trip is your respect for people of different cultures. You will most often find that people throughout the world are happy to have you as a visitor - as long as you are considerate of them and their way of life." - Anne McAlpin

A great way to "recycle" your luggage is to donate it to these organizations. Many people cannot afford suitcases and bags, and may be relocating often. You can check with your local county office to find out where you can donate these items.
